  19. We're nearing the end of the MS-DOS Kermit 3.15 Beta testing period.
  20. Beta 14 is now available for testing.  Please give it a good workout!
  21. The changes since last time are:
  22.  
  23.  1. New REGET command.  REGET is to GET as RESEND is to SEND: file
  24.     transfer recovery of interrupted binary-mode transfers, in this case
  25.     when downloading from a Kermit server.  Works only when Kermit's
  26.     FILE TYPE is BINARY.
  27.  
  28.  2. \v(date) format changed to "27 Jan 1997" for compatibility with
  29.     C-Kermit.  Language-independent numeric (Julian) dates are available
  30.     as \v(ndate), as always.
  31.  
  32.  3. The new CONNECT-mode status-line clock (with blinking colon) is
  33.     turned off when running under Windows, even in a full-screen DOS
  34.     box), to stop flickering of the display caused by Windows recovering
  35.     from a polling DOS call to get the time of day.
  36.  
  37.  4. The CONNECT-mode status line is now refreshed to show the proper
  38.     printing status if a printer is unavailable, rather than leaving a
  39.     ghost "PRN" indication if printing has been terminated.

  45. Put it in your regular MS-DOS Kermit directory, unzip it, and run
  46. MSK315.EXE instead of KERMIT.EXE.  Read MSK315.DOC for documentation of
  47. changes since version 3.14.
